Many families today are spread across the state or country, and it is not always possible to leave work or family responsibilities to take on the task of helping Mom and Dad move. The list of things to do can be formidable and can take away time that is best devoted to managing the emotional needs of the family during the move process.
Most of our clients choose to have us handle every detail of their move, but we can provide a customized move, tailored to your specific needs, from the following services:
- Develop an overall move plan
- Ready the home for sale and assist in locating a Realtor
- Stage the home for best appearance/maximum sale price
- Organize and sort belongings
- Assist in the dispersal of belongings to family or friends, and arrange for shipping or storage when necessary
- Arrange for the profitable disposal of unneeded items through auction, estate sale, consignment, and/or donation
- Create customized floor plans for the new space
- Hire and manage packers and moving company
- Unpack and set up the new home — we can even stock the pantry!
